I’ve spent most of the past decade seeing the world by myself, with my camera as my compass and closest friend. The solitude I am in now, however, is very different. It’s not one of choice, and perhaps this is what makes it so difficult to process. We are all at a standstill, waiting for the world to begin, to return to something a little more familiar, if only for a moment. #isolation A post shared by National Geographic (@natgeo) on May 2, 2020 at 10:05am PDT
